TÜV SÜD and Foshan Robotics Association Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Jointly Promote Development of Intelligent Manufacturing Industry

TÜV SÜD and the Foshan Robotics Association recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to which both parties will cooperate closely in corporate training, management system certification and product testing and certification. Together, they will facilitate the development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in China's Greater Bay Area and Foshan in particular.

Entering the era of "Industry 4.0", China is deepening transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. To grasp the opportunities brought by its emphasis on digitization and intelligent transformation, in 2022, TÜV SÜD and Foshan Robotics Association joined forces again to promote the development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, especially in Foshan. The cooperation will focus on key segments such as innovation, intelligent transformation, strengthened foundation, green development, and talents, while fully leveraging TÜV SÜD’s strengths in training and technical services, testing and certification, industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing evaluation and transformation.

According to this agreement, both parties will cooperate closely in corporate training, management system certification and product testing and certification. To jointly cultivate high-level talents serving the development of the intelligent manufacturing industry in Foshan, TÜV SÜD will offer a variety of high-quality training courses for local enterprises, covering Industry 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing, quality management, information security, lean production, automotive technology, management and leadership, etc. Moreover, the two sides will also jointly carry out industry research and intelligent evaluation of the industrial robot industry in Foshan.
