TÜV SÜD Issues Product Carbon Footprint Verification Statement to Voltronic Power

TÜV SÜD recently issued a product carbon footprint verification statement based on ISO 14067:2018 to eight InfiniSolar PV inverters manufactured by Voltronic Power Technology Corp. (Voltronic Power). The statement demonstrates Voltronic Power’s commitment on sustainable and low-carbon development and marks a new milestone in its low carbon cooperation with TÜV SÜD.

 
TÜV SÜD Issues a Carbon Footprint Verification Statement to Voltronic Power

Greenhouse gas emissions have become the focus of public attention due to global concern for climate changes. As China has announced that it would aim to peak its carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060, companies are faced with the need to reduce carbon emissions. With the increase in customer demands for carbon data management and enhanced implementation of relevant international policies in recent years, Voltronic Power tries to grasp opportunities to low-carbon transformation by taking positive actions and cooperating with TÜV SÜD, an internationally renowned authoritative testing and certification body, on product carbon footprint assessment and verification. 

TÜV SÜD verified the total greenhouse gas emissions of 8 models of PV inverters (model: InfiniSolar VIII-3KW, V II-3KW 24V, V II-5KW, VIII-5KW, V IV 5.6KW, VII LV 6KW, V II 3/3 6KW, VII 6KW) manufactured by Voltronic Power at every stage of product life cycle from raw material acquisition and processing to customer use. It confirmed that these products comply with ISO 14067:2018 and issued a product carbon footprint verification statement to Voltronic Power. This statement not only helps Voltronic Power fully understand the carbon emission contribution of its products at each stage and reduce its supply chain’s carbon emissions to contribute to energy conservation, but also provides data support for it to fulfill social responsibility and gradually embark on the road of efficient low-carbon and sustainable development.
