TÜV SÜD Hong Kong received the Testing and Certification Manpower Development Corporate Award

TÜV SÜD Hong Kong was recently granted the 2021-2022 Testing and Certification Manpower Development Corporate Award by Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification. The award commends its outstanding performance in promoting the development of testing and certification (T&C) practitioners. In addition, Ms. Vivian Li from TÜV SÜD Chemical Lab won the Excellent Testing and Certification Professional Award, which recognizes her outstanding contribution to improving service quality and productivity.

Hong Kong’s T&C industry is widely acclaimed due to its high level of integrity and credibility, keen market sense and quick response. With a view to recognize T&C bodies which attach importance to talent training and manpower development, as well as to encourage T&C practitioners to strive for improvement and professional development, Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification launched the Testing and Certification Manpower Development Award Scheme in 2021. Through the scheme, it aims to demonstrate to the community that talent is much treasured by the T&C sector and help attract and retain talents in the industry.

The T&C Manpower Development Corporate Award under the scheme recognizes accredited T&C bodies’ achievements in the following aspects: promote the training and development of T&C practitioners, provide support to improve the ability and professionalism of practitioners, care for practitioners, and communicate with practitioners. The Excellent T&C Professional Award commends those who pursue professional development by acquiring new skills, abilities and related academic and professional qualifications, and have made an important contribution to improving the service quality or productivity of T&C bodies (e.g., innovation and/or adoption of new technologies).

Ms. Vivian Li, winner of Excellent T&C Professional Award, is a testing engineer at TÜV SÜD Chemical Lab. She improved testing process and methods and helped the lab improve work efficiency. Vivian said: “I’d like to thank TÜV SÜD for providing me with such a great platform. I will continue to devote to the T&C industry and contribute my strength to the development of TÜV SÜD.”
