Huawei DQ ODN Awarded TÜV SÜD’s First Global Mark for Passive Fibre Optic Products

China/Shenzhen, On December 29, 2020, TÜV SÜD granted its first Global Mark for Passive Fibre Optic Products to Huawei, a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, for its Digital QuickODN Solutions (DQ ODN). The certificate indicates that the high mechanical reliability, environmental reliability and optical performance of Huawei's DQ ODN related products perfectly comply with international standards requirements, adding a competitive advantage to Huawei in the global marketplace.

TÜV SÜD global mark for passive fibre optic products has formulated more stringent standards in testing the mechanical reliability, environmental reliability, pre-and-post retrofit airtightness, and optical performance. It is applied to a series of optical distribution network (ODN) products, including connectors, optical components, and various types of protective cover. So far, TÜV SÜD has launched three kinds of marks for different product categories:



With the release of the first global certification for passive fibre optic products, TÜV SÜD will continue to make efforts in the optical fiber communications industry to provide comprehensive testing and certification services for the safety and quality of laser products, optical fiber communications products and systems.
