Simon Kellerer (39) will be appointed to the three-member management team of TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH with effect from 1 January 2021. The business administration graduate will take over responsibility for the real-estate business units in the company. TÜV SÜD Industrie Service provides bespoke engineering, inspection, testing and certification services aimed at ensuring the safety, cost-effectiveness and sustainability of equipment, infrastructure and buildings.
After graduating in business administration from Augsburg University of Applied Sciences, Simon Kellerer embarked on his career in 2009 at the sales department of OTIS GmbH & Co. OHG, an international leading manufacturer of lift systems. Over the following years he held several executive positions at OTIS, most recently as regional manager for the German region of Bavaria with responsibility for the new installation and service of lift systems and as fully authorised officer (Prokurist).
Simon Kellerer joined TÜV SÜD in 2014. In his first position at TÜV SÜD Advimo GmbH, he was in charge of establishing and managing the TÜV SÜD Business Unit Lift Operations Management, where he drove the development of new services for cost-effective and safe lift operation. As Business Unit Manager Lifts, Cranes and Conveyors in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Division, Keller has been responsible since 2017 for global business expansion and for developing and implementing a comprehensive digitalisation strategy in this area.

As the new Managing Director of TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH, Simon Kellerer is not only responsible for the company’s services in the real-estate sector, but also oversees the German region of Baden-Wuerttemberg as well as the sales and marketing functions. In the three-strong management team, Kellerer will collaborate closely with CEO Ferdinand Neuwieser and CFO Thomas Kainz to continue guiding the company on its successful course and to proactively support and advance the development of innovative services and demand-focused solutions.
