Mastering digitisation – safely and securely

At it-sa 2019, Europe’s largest trade show for IT security, TÜV SÜD and its three subsidiaries of TÜV SÜD Sec-IT, Uniscon and TÜV SÜD Akademie will present its portfolio of cybersecurity and data protection services. The experts from TÜV SÜD will be in attendance at the trade show from 8 to 10 October, providing information about IT security issues and the company’s services in various presentations and at booth 9-109 in Hall 9.

The advance of digitisation is confronting many companies with enormous challenges; as a result, they may often lose sight of digital security. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are particularly vulnerable in this respect, with security systems and processes that frequently reveal large gaps and make them easy targets for cybercrime. Companies like these need a third-party partner with the necessary experience to ensure they can make the most of the opportunities offered by digital transformation, while identifying and dealing with the cyber-risks that lie in wait.

In its capacity as an independent technical and certification service provider, TÜV SÜD supports companies in all aspects of digital security throughout the entire cybersecurity life cycle. Areas covered include industrial cybersecurity topics and interaction between OT and IT security, state-of-the-art tools such as attack service detection to counter cyberattacks, aspects of data protection under the European GDPR and secure cloud-based data storage solutions. Services are based on training courses held by TÜV SÜD Akademie to bring employees and processes at the client companies on board for long-term support of the data protection and IT security measures introduced.
