TÜV SÜD certifies ENEC & ENEC+ for electrical and lighting products for the European Market

TÜV SÜD offers ENEC/ENEC+ local certification services in Greater China. The European ENEC/ENEC+ schemes allow manufacturers and importers to demonstrate compliance of their electrical and lighting products with the product safety requirements of the European market. This will heavily reduce the testing time for Chinese manufacturers.

As a global leading third-party testing and inspection company, TÜV SÜD is committed to provide professional and convenient one-stop services for local clients. The localized testing and certification services not only shorten the lead time of testing and certification, but also improve the communication efficiency. In this way, TÜV SÜD assists Chinese manufacturers to enhance product quality and competitiveness of their electrical and lighting products and to accelerate their pace of entering the European high-end market.

TÜV SÜD laboratories in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Taiwan received local testing qualifications under the ENEC scheme. Additionally the Shanghai laboratory was issued the ENEC+ Acceptance for lighting products, which complements the ENEC scheme by independently verifying both safety and performance. The ENEC+ scheme can also reduce the need for separate performance testing, since ENEC+ testing generally covers all initial specification elements, TÜV SÜD Shanghai branch has the ability to certify products according ENEC+ scheme.

The ENEC/ENEC+ testing laboratories of TÜV SÜD Greater China provide a wide range of certification services, which cover the following product categories:

  • Household appliances
  • IT and office equipment
  • Lighting products
  • Appliance switches and automatic controllers of household appliances
