TÜV SÜD America Appoints New Vice President of Strategic Account Management and Sales Enablement

TÜV SÜD America Inc., a premium quality, safety, and sustainability solutions provider that specializes in testing, inspection, auditing, certification, training, and knowledge services, announces the appointment of Ms. Kristen Downs to the role of Vice President of Strategic Account Management and Sales Enablement for the Americas, including TÜV SÜD Canada, TÜV SÜD América de México, and TÜV SÜD America do Brasil.

Ms. Downs has held numerous senior sales and leadership roles with global multi-national organizations. Her background is in IT services and Telecommunications with experience across enterprise sales, business development and customer service. Most notably, she served as Director of Enterprise Sales at Level 3 Communications and held various sales and account management leadership roles during her extended tenure at Orange Business Services. Earlier in her career, she spent time at Genuity and MCI Worldcom with roles in enterprise sales and customer service. She led sales and sales operations as SVP, Global Business Development for Invaluable, a leading SaaS provider for the Auction Industry. Kristen holds an MBA in Global Management from Babson College - F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business and graduated with Bachelor of Art degrees in History and Political Science from the University of Vermont. She lives outside of Boston with her family, and will be based out of TÜV SÜD America’s regional headquarters in Peabody.
