SCOPE:

This quality mark represents an overall performance level beyond legal requirements and at least compared to the state-of-the art or better in the related product segment.

BASIS OF CERTIFICATION (REQUIREMENTS):

The test program within the TÜV SÜD MARK scheme is basing on UN/ECE regulations and modern state of the art test procedures. During the certification common and relevant safety performance tests on wet and dry surface must be passed. Additionally, the measurement of rolling resistance and rolling noise are representing the environmental test criteria and an advanced high-speed test shall monitor the robustness of the candidate tire.

For 3 PMSF snow tires also the safety performance on snow surface is evaluated.

The applicant´s candidate tire will be compared to the average performance of at least 3 competitor tire makes representing the performance level well in the average of modern European tires.

The performance limits are set by TÜV SÜD Product Service and clearly exceed the legal requirements.
