Dreame Technology’s robot vacuum obtains TÜV SÜD’s ETSI EN 303 645 AoC

Days ago, the household robot vacuum (certified model RLS6TAC, market model W10 Pro) independently developed by Dreame Innovation Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. (Dreame Technology) obtained TÜV SÜD Greater China’s first attestation of compliance on ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1 security standard for consumer IoT robot vacuum. This means that the robot vacuum complies with ETSI EN 303 645 standard in terms of Internet security and privacy protection.

While bringing convenience to household cleaning, artificial intelligence-based robot vacuums impose risks in user privacy leakage. TÜV SÜD performed professional security tests and document reviews on Dreame Technology’s RLS6TAC household robot vacuum with reference to mandatory and recommended requirements in ETSI EN 303 645 V2.1.1 and the latest assessment guide ETSI TS 103 701 V1.1.1. The experts verified its implementation of important security baselines, and assessed its communications security at device side, application layer and in cloud storage.

The robot vacuum passed the tests and obtained TÜV SÜD’s attestation of compliance on ETSI EN 303 645. This also prepares Dreame Technology for the EU’s imminent mandatory requirements on access to cybersecurity market.
