TÜV SÜD: Auto Service Division changes its name to Mobility Division

TÜV SÜD is pooling its mobility services in the TÜV SÜD Mobility Division, thereby shifting the focus of its service offers from vehicles to overall transport and mobility. The new name demonstrates how TÜV SÜD is catering to changes in the transport and mobility sector, sending out a clear signal of its goal to be the number one international third-party testing and inspection organisation for mobility services.

“Autonomous driving, shared mobility, alternative fuel technologies – our mobility is changing rapidly. We have accompanied the processes associated with this development right from the outset. By pooling the host of diverse services that we have built up over recent years in our Mobility Division, we are now ensuring synergies, transparency and fast processes for our customers”, says Patrick Fruth, CEO of the TÜV SÜD Mobility Division. In this division, TÜV SÜD Group will offer all its services for motorists, car dealerships, fleet operators, rental car and leasing operators as well as OEMs from a single source. Interdisciplinary future-facing technologies such as highly automated driving or the handling of highly sensitive vehicle data also fall under the scope of this Division, headed by Patrick Fruth. In this context, TÜV SÜD accompanies and supports digital, technical and social transformation.
