 Walter has over 25 years of experience in the Testing and Certification industry. Having an MSc in automotive engineering, he has extensive experience in international management and leadership in the field of automotive and manufacturing. With international exposure to the Americas, Asia, and Europe, Walter developed an extensive network within the industry and governmental institutions in all international key markets.

Mr. Ulf Brüning

Managing Consultant, TÜV SÜD Global Risk Consultants (GRC)

Ulf has 18 years of experience in Global Asset related Risk Management and Risk Engineering servicing large and mid-sized International Corporate Organisations.

He is responsible for managing and delivering the core services of TÜV SÜD GRC to clients in key markets. 

 

Matthias Herold

Mr. Matthias Herold

Global Product Expert, Machinery 

Matthias has 20 years of experience with risk assessment and machinery safety; knowledge about safety-related European directives and normative regulations, mentoring of TÜV SÜD international Machinery Safety Expert Network. He has participated in several risk assessment and safety consulting projects, such as consulting services for clean energy safety concepts for BMW, risk management system implementation at ILL Grenoble, etc. from 2003 to 2012.

 

Simon Lemin

Mr. Simon Lemin

Director, Industry Service Division, Greater China 

Simon is a mechanical engineer with experience in multiple countries predominantly in the industrial sector since 2016, focussing on the Chinese market. He has accumulated rich experience in areas such as Regulatory Interface, Safety Case Authoring, Optioneering, and Project Management. Today, he leads a team of around 200 inspectors, engineers, and experts to support large infrastructure projects, steam and pressure equipment, chemical projects, and the energy sector.

 

Taiwei LiMr. Li Taiwei

Manager, Industry Product, Greater China 

Taiwei is the Head of Industry Product in Greater China. He has been working in the automation and robotics area for over 15 years. He is an expert in functional safety for factory automation and process automation. On top of these, he is also the CE Machinery Directive, low voltage directive technical certifier, outdoor noise directive lead auditor. Taiwei is a member of SAC/TC338 and SACTC231.

 

Dr Detlev RichterDr. Detlev Richter

Vice President, Global Head of Industrial and Energy Products

Detlev worked in various positions in the semiconductor and power electronics industry for over 18 years. He is the Global Head of Industrial and Energy products since 2014 and drives the implementation of Safety and Security Services for SMART Manufacturing and IIoT globally. He is responsible for global product strategy for testing and certification services, including EMC and ENV. He is also responsible for product and process development for Industry 4.0 based Smart technologies.
