HOW TO ESTABLISH ROBUST SUPPLY CHAIN USING ON DEMAND 3D PRINTING CAPABILITIES?(TRAINING, INDUSTRIAL AM PRODUCTION QUALITY & CONSISTENCY CERTIFICATION)

In times of COVID-19, additive manufacturing (AM) has become increasingly important. The technology is used to produce medical components such as ventilator valves, protective face shields, as well as industrial goods such as spare parts and moulds. 3D printing machines are also used to print on-demand parts and end-use components. In this live stream, we explore the difficulties in AM such as how can you achieve the highest quality in AM, especially in regulated industries, how can you enforce quantity control and standard operating procedures in emergency situations and the qualification of employees in AM engineering, production and management.
