Future Certification of Autonomous Systems

Our webinar tackles safety challenges for autonomous machinery in mixed environments and steps to resolve those challenges from an assessment point of view. Our expert shares his experiences from a broad range of projects from forest harvesters to autonomous guided vehicles. The focus will be on programmable logic controllers, sensors and software development.

This webinar mainly addresses functional safety research scientists, manufacturers of machinery facing the need to implement autonomous functionalities as well as system architects of machinery and mobile machinery.

Our webinar will tackle these points, focusing on:

  • Current status of standards, architectures and safety functions
  • Up-to-date and future functions in relation to currently used safety standards
  • Interfaces of machine functions and on-road requirements
  • Future approaches for assessments: tasks for manufacturer and assessor
